Updated!

Yep... that's right... after taking close to 70 pictures each week for the boys' photoshoot, we finally got around to choosing the best and uploading to share.

Just click on the button to the right that says, "Watch us grow!"  As a reminder... the little one with the "K" backwards is ParKer.

Some of the weeks are just on pretty fabric, but some of the weeks are on fabric chosen for a reason...

Bentley and The Lion

We all know Bentley, but we would now like to introduce you to the Lion.

And today... after a twenty minute staredown with the Lion, both Bentley and The Lion agreed to a truce!

Photo Phone Phrenzy!

Hello again friends!

As most of you know... I work a lot!  On average 80 hours a week and on long days, I could go a whole 36 hours without seeing my bambinos.  I know... very sad!  But, to make up for my sadness, I like to keep my phone chock-full-o-nuts... I mean chock full of pictures.  If I miss the munchkins too much, I just take a few minutes to soak up their cuteness.

Today, I decided to share the cuteness with y'all!  Here are some of my favorite photos on my phone.  They are phone photos, so the quality isn't great, but who needs quality when the kiddos are just so darn cute!

Here they are on Day 1, sharing a little bucket in the hospital.  So small... so cute!

This is Bentley, learning to hold his head up.

Bentley's first adventure in his Bumbo seat.  Believe it or not, he was initially quite happy... until I left the room to grab the camera.  I ran back downstairs to find him like this :(

We took a mini-family-vacation to the Eastern Shore.  It was the first nice weekend in February and we pretended it was spring time.  The hotel had an indoor pool and we took the boys swimming.  "Swimming" is a bit of an overstatement... we took them into the pool and spent 5 minutes holding on real tight, so as not to drown the slippery little buggers.

They still don't like their Bumbos.

Parker exercising his equally fantastic head/neck strength.

These are some favorites!  Bentley was histarically crying, but pulled himself together upon seeing the camera.  Parker just loves "Inchie" the inchworm and was having a great day!

This was our turnpike to turnpike HAPPY BIRTHDAY wish to Kristin... you know, because she is old!

Daddy Day Care

Well it's a Thursday...and you know what that means...

DADDY DAY CARE!!!

Thursday is my day (as well as Tuesday and Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday - but we do have help - aka Nanny Julia).  I have them the whole day and still manage to sell software/solve the world's TigerView problems.

Anyways, I get to do everything from a walk, to baths, to feedings, to playing, to changing diapers (5 times per guy), to picking out their clothes.  Today I picked out these outfits and started laughing as they are numbered "3" and "4" (Parker is "3" and Bentley is "4").  I was laughing as I pondered....what would it be like if there were also a "1" and "2"!

The boys had a great day today and are so close to rolling over from their back to their front.  If sucking their hand wasn't so darn fun they'd have that and possibly speaking Spanish mastered by now!

Opening Day!

All is well as the O's are 3-0, the weather is SUNNY and 75 degrees.  Opening Day in Baltimore might as well be a government holiday.  Lets go O's!  Lets go O's!

Milestone Alert: Starting Solids!

Hello All!

The pediatrician in me knows that you should begin the introduction of solid foods somewhere between 4 and 6 months of age.  You start with rice cereal and then slowly introduce a new additional food; one per week.

The mom in me decided to try this milestone at 4 months and 3 weeks; you know because the pediatrician in me thought they were born 3 weeks early and deserved a little extra exclusive-milk-feeding time.  We started with rice cereal... that was a fun adventure!  And if by "fun adventure" you read "a whole new adventure in the diaper department."

After a week on rice cereal, we decided to advance to apples!  I know... thrilling... right?  Believe it or not... I cooked it myself!  Yep... me... the girl who hasn't cooked a meal since she married her awesome-super-fantastic-cooking-husband!  I cooked apples for my babies and it wasn't even hard.  The hilarious part is the fact that I first bought a cookbook.  An expensive - had to travel all the way to Williams-Sonoma - had to have it - cookbook.  The cookbook is great!  But, I probably could have delayed the purchase of said cookbook by at least another 3 months.  Basically every recipe for 4-9 month olds is as follows:

1.  Take food.  (Insert your choice of food here... apples, pears, peaches, bananas, sweet potatoes, etc).
2.  Steam food.
3.  Mush food.
4.  Feed food to adorable twinkies!
5.  Clean food from adorable twinkies face, hair, ears and hands.
6.  Give up and just give adorable twinkies a bath and new outfit.

Alright... alright... I may have made up steps 4-6, but did I really need a cookbook for steps 1-3?  Haha... oh well... you live you learn!

Now... without further ado... the incredible solid-food-eating TWINKIES!

Lots of Love,
Liz and Scott and Bentley and Parker
